SCHENECTADY – Exciting news for music lovers in Schenectady! The Electric Grinch, a new live-music venue, has burst onto the scene and is already making waves.
The Electric Grinch, inspired by a popular bar from the 1970s and ‘80s, is the brainchild of Mitchell Ramsey, the owner of the Jay St. Pub. With a blend of vintage charm and modern aesthetics, this venue is breathing new life into the local music scene.
The grand opening on Dec. 22 was a true celebration, featuring a ribbon-cutting ceremony during the day and performances from national recording artist David J from Rotterdam, along with Vinny Michaels. The following night, The E-Block, one of the Capital Region’s most promising young bands, took the stage by storm.
Ramsey, the visionary behind the Electric Grinch, shared in an interview with Nippertown, “I wanted to create something that doesn’t already exist here in Schenectady – a craft cocktail bar featuring live music.”
