Bonded Pairs at Pretty Paw Lounge

Meet Bronx (2 years old) and Jasper (6 months old), a bonded pair of unknown breed. Bronx was discovered near Yankee Stadium and Jasper was rescued from the Mayfield junkyard by Kitten Angels. These two deserve a caring home together, and they thrive as the sole pets in a household.

Also available are Neagan (9 years old) and Radici (7 years old), another bonded pair of unknown breed. These inseparable brothers were discovered abandoned in a baby stroller outside Manhattan Animal Care Center. They’re incredibly sweet and truly deserving of boundless love. This duo gets along splendidly with kittens, kids, adults, and other cats.

All adoptions are processed by their partner Kitten Angels – a local non-for-profit cat rescue organization. All adoption applications are completed off premise with Kitten Angels (The application requires references and veterinarian check).

Available Dogs at Mohawk Humane Society

Meet Roxy, a 9-year-old female pit mix, and Lois, a 1.5-year-old female mastiff mix. Roxy is a senior lady seeking the perfect retirement home to bask in her golden years. Lois is a younger and very shy girl on the lookout for special individuals who can show her that the world isn’t as daunting as it seems.

Lois participates in a Foster-to-Adopt program. This initiative involves multiple meetings with applicants, aiming to offer guidance and behavioral modification strategies that aid the dog in transitioning to a new home. Once all parties involved are confident and a suitable match is determined, the dog begins a three-week foster-to-adopt period. During this time, we pair you with a member of our behavior team, who offers remote troubleshooting support via phone or email. We understand that these dogs require an investment to bring out their best selves, and our goal is to provide ongoing support.
