NEW MISSIONARY TRAINING CENTER TO OPEN IN BANGKOK, THAILAND
SALT LAKE CITY — Exciting news for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints as they announced the opening of a new missionary training center in Bangkok, Thailand. The center, set to open in January, will be an annex of the complex surrounding the Bangkok Thailand Temple, which was dedicated in October.
This new training center will accommodate missionaries from southeast Asia and other regions, providing essential training at the beginning of their missions. The center will offer teaching and language training, with missionaries spending three to nine weeks in training, depending on the language in which they are assigned to teach.
With this new addition, the church will now have 10 missionary training centers worldwide, including centers in Brazil, England, Ghana, Mexico, New Zealand, Peru, the Philippines, South Africa, and Provo. Each center specializes in the languages of the regions they serve, with the Provo MTC teaching over 50 languages.
The new Thailand MTC will train missionaries in English, Thai, and Russian, catering to the needs of the region. This expansion is a testament to the church’s commitment to spreading its message and supporting missionaries around the world.
The Church of Jesus Christ opening a new Missionary Training Center in Thailand is a great opportunity to spread their message and serve the local community better.
Great news! The Church’s expansion shows their dedication to spreading their message globally and helping communities around the world.
