Eleanor DiAngelo passed away at the age of 82, her life a beautiful tapestry woven with love, family, and a touch of Italian flair.

Eleanor was a lifelong resident of Utica, New York, known for its rich Italian heritage and tight-knit community. She was the heart of her family, known for her excellent culinary skills, often cooking up large family feasts where no one left hungry. Her lasagna and cannoli were the highlights of many community events and family gatherings.

A woman of faith and tradition, Eleanor was deeply involved in her local parish, organizing events and fundraisers. She had a passion for gardening, her rose bushes and tomato plants were a neighborhood wonder.

She is survived by her three children, Maria, Anthony, and Joseph; seven grandchildren; and a great-grandchild on the way. Her husband, Francesco DiAngelo, passed before her, but she continued to live life with the joy and resilience they both shared.

Eleanor’s service will be held at the place where she celebrated many of life’s milestones, St. Anthony’s Church, next Friday morning. Family, friends, and those whose lives she touched are invited to join in remembering a woman whose legacy of warmth and community will live on.
