No. 10 St. Lawrence shuts out Garnet Chargers in Union College women’s hockey

What a game it was! Aly McLeod led the charge with two goals and an assist as 10th-ranked St. Lawrence dominated Union in a 4-0 women’s ECAC Hockey victory at Appleton Arena in Canton. The crowd went wild as Mae Batherson also contributed with a goal and an assist, and Julia Gosling added another goal to the scoreboard. Goalie Emma-Sofie Nordstrom was unstoppable, making 21 saves to earn the shutout.

Union goalie Sophie Matsoukas put up a good fight, stopping 28 shots, but it wasn’t enough to hold off the relentless St. Lawrence offense.
