Concerns⁢ About‍ Construction Noise

The new‍ construction ‍projects near Van Corlaer Elementary⁢ School are causing a real nuisance for local residents. The noise‍ begins as early as 7am and ‍continues ⁢until‍ late in‌ the ‌afternoon. Many‌ locals ‌work from home and the noise is very disrupting. I ‍understand the need for development, but surely‌ the construction company can find some way to ⁤mitigate the noise, or at least confine their operations to more reasonable hours.

Proposed Dog Park Needs More Consideration

I recently learned about ‌the proposed dog park for Central Park in Schenectady.‍ As a dog owner, I’m all in favor of‍ providing our ‍furry friends a designated area to play. However, I wonder how much thought the city has put into⁤ the potential ⁢issues this could‍ cause. Are there plans to enforce ⁤leash ⁤laws? How will the city ensure the park doesn’t ⁤become ⁤an unmonitored nuisance to those ⁣living nearby?⁢ I hope city officials will answer these valid questions before⁤ proceeding.

Plastic Bag Ban: Progress in the ‍Right Direction

I want to applaud local businesses for enforcing the plastic bag ban which was recently implemented. It’s a small step towards a⁣ more environmentally friendly Schenectady. For too long we’ve been overly dependent on these polluting products.‌ Of course, it’s an adjustment and perhaps inconvenient ⁣to ⁤some, but ⁣the benefits far outweigh the inconveniences. Looking ahead, I⁢ hope⁣ to see more such measures that will express our collective commitment ‌towards preserving ⁤the ⁢environment.
