SARATOGA SPRINGS – Marcella’s Appliance Center, a leading family-owned appliance dealer in the Capital Region, has exciting news to share! The company has recently expanded its reach by acquiring Adirondack Appliance, a well-established company serving homeowners and commercial builders in the Saratoga and Lake George regions since 1929.
This strategic acquisition will allow Marcella’s to extend its presence farther north, building on its flagship showroom in Schenectady and the Clifton Park location. John Marcella, the vice president of Marcella’s Appliance Center, expressed his enthusiasm for the expansion, stating, “Extending beyond the Albany-Schenectady-Troy area is something we’ve been building towards. With Adirondack Appliance, we will be able to fully service the new construction growth up north in recent years.”
In addition to the acquisition, Marcella’s has also opened a new 30,000-square-foot warehouse and distribution center in Rotterdam. This new facility will consolidate three existing warehouses into one centralized location and support the company’s green initiatives, including the use of solar panels and a polystyrene densifier machine for recycling.
Marcella’s Appliance Center is known for offering 70 product lines from all major brands, as well as in-house repair services. With the new acquisition and warehouse expansion, the company is poised to provide even better service to customers in the Capital Region and beyond.
