SCHENECTADY – City police have located missing 11-year-old Miamor Rivera, police said Monday afternoon.
Police had been looking for her, saying she was last seen getting into a dark-colored, possibly four-door sedan at about 9 p.m. Sunday, police said.
Police, however, announced Monday afternoon that she had been found.
“Miamor has been located,” police wrote on Facebook. “We thank the public and the media for their assistance in this case.”
Community Support: The community came together to help find Miamor, with many people sharing her photo and information on social media. It’s heartwarming to see everyone working together to bring her home safely.
