Valentine’s Day Dance to be Held at Schenectady YMCA this Saturday

SCHENECTADY⁣ — This weekend, local families have the opportunity to come together and⁣ celebrate​ the ​spirit of Valentine’s Day at ​a special family dance. The ‌event ⁢is scheduled to take place at ‌the Schenectady YMCA on Saturday evening.

The event, which is free of‍ charge, ⁤will be ⁤held from 5⁢ p.m. to 7‍ p.m. at the YMCA’s location at​ 433 State⁤ St.

Hosted by the Capital District YMCA, the family dance promises a variety of ⁣fun-filled​ activities designed to entertain children ‌of all age ‍groups.

“We invite families ​to join ⁣us ⁢at⁤ the Schenectady Y this Valentine’s Day for an evening filled ‍with dancing, laughter, and quality⁤ family‍ time,” ⁢ said David Byrd, ⁣the executive director of Capital ⁢District YMCA’s Schenectady ‍branch,‍ in a recent statement.

There is no need to⁤ pre-register for‍ the event. However, ⁣it⁢ is important⁤ to note ⁣that ⁢children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult to attend the ‌dance.

In a ‌special offer, any attendee who decides to become a ⁢CDYMCA member at the event will have their joiner’s fee completely waived.
