In an exciting turn of events, Logan Kelly managed to secure a win for Waterford-Halfmoon in a non-league baseball game against Rensselaer. This was achieved by walking with the bases loaded in the nail-biting bottom of the seventh inning on Friday. Despite the loss, Rensselaer’s Izaiah Johnson and Ronald LaCoy put up a good fight, each contributing a double to their team’s effort.
Softball Highlights
On the softball front, Gianna Barringer put on an impressive performance, hitting a homer and a double to lead Troy to a 7-3 non-league victory over Cohoes. Vanessa Quinn also played a significant role in the win, adding a triple and three RBIs to the scoreboard.
