Frustration Over Potholes in Edison Avenue
Bravo for your recent exposé on the condition of our city’s roads. I am a resident of Edison Avenue, Schenectady, and the amount of potholes on our street is astonishing. The risk for damage to our cars is substantial, and not to mention the hazard it presents for pedestrians. It’s about time our city officials address this ongoing issue. Thanks for bringing this to light.

Concern About Rat Presence in Vale Cemetery
I would like to express my concern about the increasing rat problem in the Vale Cemetery, as you recently reported. This historic cemetery is not only a resting place for many of our town’s founders and ancestors, but it’s also a popular site for serene walks and reflection. The rat infestation is now threatening its peaceful ambiance. The city must be implored to take swift action to fix this.

Impressive Response of Schenectady Fire Department
I want to publicly thank and recognize the Schenectady Fire Department for their rapid response to the fire at Broadview Manor last week. Their professionalism and courage saved many lives. Their work often goes unnoticed, but in times of crisis like these, we are reminded of their indispensable contribution to our community. Kudos to WHNY for showcasing their heroism.
