Track and Field: Burnt Hills Relay, O’Rourke, and Rogan Receive All-America Accolades at National Championships

At the ‌recent​ New Balance Outdoor Track and ⁢Field Nationals held in Philadelphia, a local high school relay team and two individual⁣ athletes made their mark, securing podium ‌finishes and earning All-America honors.

The Burnt Hills Track Club, consisting of team members Adalyn Wood, Samantha Torres, Cassidy Robleno, and Alexandra O’Rourke, showcased ‍their prowess in the Championship Girls’ Sprint Medley on Friday, securing a ‌commendable second place with a time of 3:56.73.

On ⁣Sunday, Alexandra O’Rourke continued her impressive performance, securing second place in the Championship Girls’ 800 meters with ⁢a ‌time of 2:04.98. ⁣

Adding to ⁣the weekend’s ‍achievements, Keira Rogan from Schuylerville clinched the sixth position ⁤in the 2,000-meter steeplechase ‌on Saturday, clocking in at 6:50.30.
