Tragic news emerged from Clifton Park, New York, as State Police confirmed the death of a motorcyclist following a crash on June 28.
The victim, identified as 36-year-old Danny J. Varone, succumbed to his injuries at Albany Medical Center, as stated in his obituary.
State Troopers were alerted to an incident involving a motorcycle off the road near Bradt Road in Rexford, shortly after 2 a.m. on the day of the accident.
Varone was initially rushed to Ellis Hospital with injuries that were deemed life-threatening at the time, according to police reports.
Varone’s obituary paints a picture of a loving father to two young sons and a resident of Scotia. He was an alumnus of Mechanicville High School, class of 2006.
