Garlic Parmesan Entry Earns The Nest Victory in Wing Walk Competition

With its tantalizing Nashville Hot Garlic Parmesan Wing‌ with Ranch, The Nest ⁣triumphed​ over 22 other ⁣competitors at the much-anticipated ⁣chicken wing festival, an event organized by the Downtown Schenectady Improvement Cooperation.

The festival was a hit, selling all ⁢2,500 tickets.‍ Attendees had the opportunity to vote‌ for ‌the best overall, most innovative, and best sauce/rub, while a panel of judges also selected winners in three categories.

YaYa’s House of Southern Cuisine ⁤won the Most Creative⁣ award for its unique YaYa’s ‍Family ‌Smothered Wing, a delightful combination served with mashed potatoes and gravy.

Simone’s​ Kitchen also emerged as⁢ a double victor, securing the title for best sauce/rub with ⁣its Sticky Sumac and‍ Pomegranate BBQ wing, a choice that resonated with both ​the public and the judges.

Canvas Corks and Forks was recognized ⁣by the judges for the Most Creative Wing, a Crispy ‌Cider ⁣Glazed Wing with a delectable Smoked Gouda Drizzle.

Other noteworthy mentions include MILAS, ​which served a Harissa Honey Crunch wing, Hunter’s on ​Jay with its ‍Honey Chipotle Ginger wing, and 20 North Broadway Tavern with its intriguing Bone-In Flavor‌ Squatch wing.
