SCHENECTADY - The renowned Daley’s on Yates is now up for grabs.
As a cornerstone of the Electric City’s culinary landscape, Daley’s on Yates is currently on sale for $1,625,000. The listing is managed by Franca DiCrescenzo from the Armida Rose Realty Group. The property spans 6,500 square feet and features a carriage house and an outdoor area, as per the listing details.
The listing description reads, “An exceptional opportunity for both budding and experienced restaurateurs. This is a fully equipped, popular downtown location ready for immediate operation.”
Daley’s on Yates, a venture by Daley Hospitality Group, first opened its doors in 2018. The restaurant, which was once a taxi garage, underwent a $1.6 million makeover to transform it into the stylish industrial space it is today.
The menu offers a delightful blend of rich traditional dishes, such as beef tartare and chateaubriand, alongside casual favorites like burgers and melts. The four-cheese eggplant and the oysters Rockefeller are the standout appetizers, loved by patrons.
As of Thursday afternoon, Daley’s seems to be operational, although a call to the hospitality group went unanswered. The group also owns Old Daley Custom Catering, Daley’s on Crooked Lake, Daley’s on Yates, the Snowman, Crooked Lake Weddings, and the Delaware Restaurant and Bar in Albany.
Interestingly, this development coincides with the sale of another iconic Schenectady eatery, Anker’s Fish House.

I disagree, Daley’s on Yates closure would be a loss for the community.
I agree, it’s sad to see another local business potentially closing down.
