Johnstown Baseball Shuts Out Mayfield with a 5-0 Victory

JOHNSTOWN – The Johnstown baseball team concluded their Western Athletic Conference season on a high note, securing a 5-0 triumph against Mayfield. The game took place on Monday⁣ at the Johnstown High‌ School grounds.

The Sir Bills’ pitchers, ‌Jay Wing and Noah Stock, showcased a ⁣stellar performance,⁤ limiting⁤ Mayfield to just⁣ three hits. Wing, in his‌ four innings on ​the‍ mound,⁣ struck out 10, walked one, allowed‌ two hits ‌and hit⁤ one batter. Stock,⁣ taking over for the final three innings, struck out five, ‌walked two, hit one batter and allowed ​only one hit.
