Christopher Johnson left us at the age of 32, a life marked by laughter, adventure, and an unquenchable thirst for life.

Christopher was a beloved son of Schenectady, New York. His passion for the outdoors led him to a career as a landscape architect, where he helped design some of the most beautiful parks in the state. His work lives on as a testament to his creativity and love for natural beauty.

A friend to everyone he met, Christopher’s bright smile and generous spirit were his trademarks. He was an active member of the local kayaking club and could often be found leading excursions down the Mohawk River.

He is survived by his parents, Bill and Susan Johnson; his sister, Andrea; and his chocolate lab, Duke. His presence will be sorely missed by his family, friends, and the many lives he touched with his boundless energy and kind heart.

The service for Christopher will be held in the green spaces he helped create, at Central Park in Schenectady, next Sunday afternoon. Those who knew him are invited to celebrate his life and the joy he brought into theirs.
