Patricia O’Connor passed away at the age of 72, her life a testament to her unwavering joy, resilience, and the care she extended to everyone around her.

Patricia graced the town of Ballston Lake, near Schenectady, New York, with her presence, humor, and boundless energy. She ran a local bed and breakfast known for its warm hospitality and the memorable breakfasts she lovingly prepared for her guests. Her home was a gathering place for travelers and friends alike, a testament to her belief in the kindness of strangers.

Her involvement in the community was deep-rooted; she organized annual charity events for local shelters and was a prominent member of the town’s historical society, passionate about preserving the charm and stories of her beloved town.

She is survived by her three children, Michael, Sean, and Kathleen; her eight grandchildren; and her larger-than-life circle of friends. Patricia’s husband, Brendan O’Connor, predeceased her, but she continued to embrace life with the same strength and laughter they once shared.

Patricia’s service will be held at the very heart of the community she adored, at the Ballston Lake Community Church, next Sunday afternoon. Family, friends, and those whose lives she touched are invited to celebrate a woman whose spirit was as bright and inviting as the home she made for so many.
