NISKAYUNA — Tragedy struck early Saturday morning in Niskayuna as two Schenectady residents lost their lives in a fatal car crash, as confirmed by local authorities.
Emergency services were alerted to the incident at 4:39 a.m. on Saint David’s Lane near Morgan Avenue, where a single vehicle had collided with a street and subsequently caught fire.
The victims, Mohaned Yousif, 32, and Samey Hussain, 28, were both pronounced dead at the scene, leaving the community in shock and mourning.
The police have launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash, and are urging anyone with information to come forward.
