Dale Stanavich, a rising star in the world of baseball, is making a⁤ significant⁤ leap from ⁤the Blue Wahoos to the Jumbo Shrimp.

The ​talented player, who‌ graduated from Amsterdam High School in ⁢2017, was elevated ​on Sunday​ from the Miami Marlins ‍Double-A affiliate to Triple-A.

With his move to the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp, Stanavich has impressively‍ ascended through three‍ of Miami’s minor league teams in the current season, marking his second full year in professional baseball.

The southpaw pitcher kicked off the ‌year in April in Beloit, Wisconsin, playing for the Sky Carp. After a stint of⁤ approximately two months, he was upgraded to Double-A in Florida with the Pensacola Blue​ Wahoos.

Now, having been ‍promoted to⁢ Triple-A and ⁣stationed in Jacksonville, Stanavich is tantalizingly close to the‍ major⁢ leagues, just one step away.

Looking at his performance this season, the relief pitcher has a commendable‌ record of 4-3​ with a 2.83‌ ERA⁣ over 43 games.⁣ He has also⁢ managed to secure 83 ⁤strikeouts in 57 1-3 innings.

Since the beginning of August, Stanavich has allowed a mere two⁣ earned runs over 14 2-3 innings. During his tenure with Pensacola, he maintained a 2.25​ ERA over 40 innings.
