SCHENECTADY – Late Thursday night, a shooting incident occurred on Mumford Street, resulting in one person being injured, according to local police reports.
The victim, an adult male, received immediate medical attention at the scene before being transported to Albany Medical Center. His injuries, while serious, were not deemed life-threatening by the attending police officers.
Emergency services, including police officers and paramedics, were dispatched to the scene in front of 532 Mumford St. shortly before 11 p.m. following reports of a shooting incident.
